Lifestyle: Happy Halloween. My #Collaboween Post With A Ginger Blondie

Hi everyone and Happy Halloween!

My blogger friend Ginger asked me if I fancy to team up with her for a Collaboween series of Halloween inspired posts on her blog A Ginger Blondie. Course I do, because this is a great opportunity to spread some blogger's love and to tell you about Ginger's lifestyle blog. She has only just started but her easy writing style make her posts very engaging and I wish her all the best in her aspiring blogging career.

Books: The Revenge of Seven. Lorien Legacies Book 5 Book Review

Hi everyone,

On Wednesday I received a fresh copy of The Revenge of Seven* (RoS), the fifth book in the Lorien Legacies series. I've spent all of Thursday to read the 314 page long adventure following our favourite characters Six, John (aka Number Four), Sam and Nine in their epic fight against the dangerous Mogadorians. I'm very proud to present you today my review of the gripping novel. The book is officially out on the 26th August 2014.

Teaser Book Review: The Revenge Of Seven. Book 5 Of The Lorien Legacies Will Be Released Next Week

Hi everyone,

The international bestselling young adult fiction series 'The Lorien Legacies', written by Pittacus Lore, continues next week with the release of a fifth book. The title, The Revenge of Seven, suggest that the novel will focus mainly on Lorien Guard Number Seven and her legacies in the never ending fight with the Mogadorians.

Books: The Death Of The Poet By N. Quentin Woolf Book Review + Win 1 Copy

Hi everyone,

How’s it going? I haven’t forgotten the book of the month in June, in fact I finished The Death of the Poet* quite quickly, but the novel left me somehow conflicted, which made it hard for me to work on the review. I started writing straight after I finished reading and I couldn’t really find the best words for my review. So I thought I should give it a bit of time and some distance - to clear my mind and to become objective again.

Objective again? Well, yes some parts of the novel are very intense and involved me emotionally. At certain times I was outraged about the bossy female lead or upset about the passiveness of the main character, but this only showed me, how well written The Death of the Poet is.

Fashion: Psychaleggings Launch In The Little Shop In Bristol

Hi everyone,

Whilst I was in Bristol on the weekend, I visited The Little Shop on 125 Cheltenham Road and taken it by its name, the shop really is small. On ca. 15 m2, Bristol-based artists can showcase and sell their products including cushions, vintage jewellery or eco-friendly postcards.

You might remember Common Threads and their psychaleggings range that launched online on 1 May. Caitlin, the artist and designer behind the label, kindly invited me to visit The Little Shop as her leggings are now available to buy there.
